Young Adult Ministry (ages 21-40)
We are starting a Young Adult Ministry at St. Simon's! Our kick off will be  "Theology on Tap," a four-pack series at "The Echo" off of Foothill Express at Miramonte. The dates are March Tuesdays, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th from 7:00-9:pm. There will be great speakers on young adult faith issues. Come and enjoy the fun! Bring your bud! (as in friend:)
Young at Heart (ages 55+)
Our "seniors" at St. Simon are better known to us as the "Young At Heart"! They are vivacious, caring, fun-loving, deeply spiritual and source of wisdom in our parish community! We gather every FIRST Tuesday of the month. We begin in the chapel for Liturgy at 11:30am followed by a lunch together in the Simon Room (sometimes it is catered with a $5.00 charge or potluck stay tuned to the bulletin for info) Then we have a short entertainment afterward! Feel free to come to part or all of the event! Come and bring a neighbor, need not be Catholic to attend!
MOPS:  Support Group for Moms
MOPS is a support group dedicated to nurturing mothers of preschoolers (infants to 6 years old).  We meet every second Tuesday of the month in Spooncer Hall from 9:15-11:15am.  Children are cared for in a program called "Moppets" where they experience the love of Jesus in a preschool setting.  Mothering matters!  We invite you to join MOPS and be the best mom you can be.   You can join anytime!   For more information, please contact Lynne Ann Biscay through the mops@stsimon.org or by phone through the rectory at 650-967-8311.
Wednesday Morning Bible Study
Wednesday Morning Bible Study: meets in the Simon Room from 9:30-11:00am. What is Jesus saying to me? Come and learn about the Bible. Please call the rectory for more information:  650-967-8311.
Small Christian Communities (SCC)
Groups of 8-10 people gather to read and reflect on scripture, and then share with each other how it can be practiced in their daily lives. Groups meet at different times of the day and evening.

There are two types of SCC's: Seasonal Groups and Ongoing Groups.  The Seasonal groups meet during specific seasons such as Lent and/or Advent.  Other groups meet weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.  Please call the rectory for more information:  650-967-8311.

Annulments
Sadly, some marriages fail.  Knowing what the Church teaches about the permanence of marriage, many people are afraid to approach the Church because of the discouragement of others, or a lack of understanding of what is possible.

The main purpose of the annulment process is to help heal wounds.  These wounds can be from a variety of  causes.  Many people feel alienated from the Church because of a marriage situation.  Let us help you to know that you have a home and are welcome here.  If you have questions, call the Parish Office 650-967-8311 and speak to Father Warwick.
